Student Council will be meeting 2nd period in the library TODAY, 3/17.
There will be an LHS Times meeting TODAY, March 17th after school in Room 5. Editors and anyone interested in writing an article for the next issue should attend.
Just a reminder...Puttin on the Hits is back! Lip-syncing, dancing, costumes, the whole shebang. And did we mention making money for your class through participation? That's right! Get inspired by joining us in the library on Friday, March 19th at 6:30 pm for a movie night starring last years participants. Rock on to the beat of your favorite artists with friends and faculty!
Interested in participating in Puttin on the Hits? Come to Room 202 on Monday, 3/22 between 2:45 Ð 5:00 p.m. to sign up.
Attention LHS Artists - Cover designs for Puttin on the Hits due in the front office to Ms. Daigle by Thurs., March 18th. Fold 11 x 17 sheet of paper in; like a book. Just drawing on cover, no words, please!!
SSF (Students for a Sustainable Future) has important meetings this week on both TODAY, 3/17 and Thursday to start planning for Earth Day. The meetings will be held after school in the Art Room. All are welcome.
Students may begin to go outside for lunch. Students are reminded that they are to be on the lawns to the left of the front door. Congregating in front of the building is no longer allowed.
There will be Senior Math Team practice Thursday after school in Room 204. We will be assigning categories for both the last regular meet and the State Math Meet. Remember that our last regular meet is next Tuesday and the State Meet is next Thursday.
The Diversity Club will be meeting TODAY, March 17, 2010. 2:45-3:15 in the back of the Library. All students and staff are welcome. Come and help plan for the "Day of Silence", April 16. Any questions see Ms. Walter, Room 200a.
SPRING SPORTS PARTICIPANTS: TIME IS RUNNING OUT! If you have signed up to do a spring sport and have NOT checked on your eligibilityÉ.PLEASE see Mrs. Spaulding in the Athletic Office during a free period. DonÕt show up on Monday for try-outs and not be able to participate.
PRESEASON MEETINGS: 3/17 Baseball Ð 3:00 in the cafeteria, Boys Tennis Ð 3:00 in Room 2, Girls Tennis 6:00 in Room 2, Track & Field 2:45 in Room 215.
Any items left in the boys or girls locker room will be removed by TODAY, 3/17. Please be sure to check the lost and found bins in both locker rooms, or to clear out your items left on the floor or on top of the lockers.
The girl’s varsity basketball team will be called to the cafeteria at 2:05 p.m. today, 3/17.
